Connecting to Data

Let's connect Arcadia Instant to your data.

In this section, we explain how to connect Arcadia Instant to your existing data, specific instructions for creating connections for each data storage type supported by Arcadia Instant, how to edit and delete your connections, and how to import supplemental data.

Tip. In Arcadia Instant, data columns of String data type must use UTF-8 or 7-bit ASCII character encoding. Other character encodings cause errors when used with extended non-ASCII characters in string manipulation functions, as comparison operators, in the ORDER BY clause, or as values in partition key columns.
